| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a plain rectangular shield frame, a stylized curly head or crest device faces right, rendered in low relief in the characteristic Viennese Pfennig bracteate-influenced style. The design is struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan typical of medieval hammered coinage. The field surrounding the central device is unadorned, with no legend or inscription present. The overall execution reflects the crude but distinctive workmanship associated with mid-14th century Austrian Pfennige. |
