| Obverse description | Large Gothic capital letter A occupying the central field, rendered in bold Gothic script and flanked by four five-petalled rosettes positioned at the cardinal points surrounding the letter. The design is contained within a plain inner circle, itself enclosed by a beaded or cable border following the irregular coin flan. The overall composition is typical of late medieval German bracteate-style pfennigs, with the initial serving as a direct reference to Bishop Albert of Wertheim. |

| Reverse description | Uniface strike; the reverse is blank and unworked, showing only the incuse impression of the obverse design as a result of the hammered striking technique on a thin silver flan. |
