Reverse description A winged clerical bust facing the viewer, depicted frontally with wings flanking the figure on either side, evoking an angelic or evangelist symbol typical of Regensburg episcopal coinage of the mid-13th century. The bust is rendered in a schematic, hieratic style consistent with hammered bracteate-influenced pfennig production of the period. The figure wears ecclesiastical vestments and the wings are broadly spread. The design fills the flan with a beaded or dotted border visible around the circumference. No legend is present.
