| Obverse description | Divided shield bearing the arms of the city of Buchhorn: to the left, a beech tree branch with foliage, and to the right, a hunting horn, the two charges separated by a vertical line. The shield occupies the central field, surrounded by a beaded border. The design is rendered in a simple, provincial style typical of small German municipal coinage of the early eighteenth century. |
