Obverse description Bipartite shield bearing the arms of Schwäbisch Hall: a cross patée in the dexter field and an upraised hand in the sinister field. A single-headed eagle displayed surmounts the shield. The date 1697 appears in the lower field beneath the shield, flanked by small ornamental stops.
