Beschrijving voorzijde	The national coat of arms of the Dominican Republic occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield with a cross, flanked by laurel and palm branches below a ribbon inscribed REPUBLICA DOMINICANA, and surmounted by a scroll bearing the national motto DIOS PATRIA LIBERTAD. A commemorative legend arcs around the periphery, reading 125 ANIVERSARIO DE LA REPUBLICA DOMINICANA, with the founding year 1844 and commemorative year 1969 separated by a central dot and flanked by stars at the base.
