| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust occupying the central field, with a notably heavy and unfinished truncation characteristic of this provisional issue. The circumferential legend ESTADO L. Y S. DE OAXACA arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 1915 appears below the bust flanked on each side by a small five-pointed star. The portrait is rendered in a rudimentary style consistent with the emergency wartime coinage of the Oaxacan provisional government. |
