| Obverse description | Black letterpress on white paper with a red diagonal guilloche underprint. A central vignette occupies the upper right portion of the note, rendered in fine intaglio engraving and showing a horse-drawn agricultural cart before a rural estancia, evoking the agrarian character of the Santa Fé province. To the lower left, an oval portrait vignette shows a young woman in three-quarter view, while at the four corners numeral "1" counters appear within ornamental frames; the date "Rosario, Enero 1° de 1875" is inscribed at the foot of the note, flanked by manuscript signature spaces designated for "El Inspector" and "El Director." |
