Obverse description The obverse features the national coat of arms of the Dominican Republic prominently centered in the field, flanked by laurel and palm branches. Their names are inscribed below the respective portraits, separated by five-pointed stars. The legend CUNA DE LOS DERECHOS HUMANOS (Cradle of Human Rights) arcs along the upper periphery, underscoring the commemorative theme of the issue.
