The "Acting Treasurer" and "Treasurer" signature variants for Lagdameo on a single Pick number reflect a transitional period in the Philippine colonial treasury apparatus — Lagdameo held both capacities at different points, and the BEP simply printed signature titles as supplied by Manila without issuing a new series. Stimson's appearance on later printings corresponds to his 1927–1929 tenure as Governor-General, making that pairing the easiest to date of the three.
The red seal distinguishes this from the blue-seal issues of the same denomination. No security underprint was used, which was already becoming an outlier practice among BEP-produced colonial currency by the mid-1920s.
