| 正面描述 | The obverse bears a central vignette of a cattle drive scene with oxen and drovers, rendered in intaglio engraving. The bank title EL BANCO COMERCIAL DE SANTA FÉ arches across the upper portion, with the date ROSARIO 1º DE MAYO DE 1867 to the right and the denomination UN PESO FUERTE in large bold letterpress text. A guilloche underprint in green covers the field, with the numeral 1 repeated in the corners and the text AL PORTADOR DE ESTE BILLETE and PAGARÁ A LA VISTA completing the promise-to-pay legend. |

| 备注 |
The Banco Comercial de Santa Fé was one of several provincial Argentine banks operating under the loose monetary framework that preceded the Banco Nacional's establishment in 1872. Provincial banks of this period issued their own currency with minimal federal oversight, and the Santa Fé notes circulated in a region still economically marginal — the province's agricultural boom driven by European immigration came later in the 1870s and 1880s, well after notes like this would have been in active use.
PS#1592A2 indicates a sub-variety within the Pick Specialized catalog, suggesting at least one other plate or signature variant exists for this denomination. Argentine provincial issues from this decade are genuinely scarce in any condition.
