Reverse description Printed entirely in brown, the reverse is dominated by an intricate guilloche framework with star and diamond geometric motifs throughout. At center, a circular medallion contains the elaborate interlaced monogram cypher of the London Bank of Central America Limited, surrounded by the bank's name in a circular legend reading LONDON BANK OF CENTRAL AMERICA LIMITED / SALVADOR BRANCH. Numeral 1 counters appear in guilloche roundels at left and right, with UNO in each corner. A large red overprint ORO (gold) is applied across the lower half, and the printer's imprint of Waterlow & Sons, Londres, Inglaterra appears at the bottom center.
