Reverse description Central device depicts the Mexican national eagle, shown in profile facing left, perched on a cactus rising from a rocky outcrop amid water, with a serpent grasped in its beak and talons. The eagle's wings are spread upward in a bold, somewhat crudely rendered style consistent with hastily produced revolutionary coinage. The circular legend EJERCITO CONSTITUCIONALISTA arcs around the upper periphery, while the political slogan MUERA HUERTA is inscribed along the lower arc, separated by small pellets or dots. A beaded border frames the entire design.
