Reverse description The reverse presents the allegorical 'Balanza' (scales) design: at centre, a Phrygian liberty cap inscribed LIBERTAD radiates sunbursts, flanked by a sword and a caduceus crossed behind a large unfurled scroll inscribed LEY (Law). From the crossed implements hang two chains suspending pans of a balance scale, symbolising justice and equality under the law. The denomination UN PESO curves along the lower left periphery, while the mint mark (Go), assayer initial (S), and fineness notation .902.7 appear along the right periphery.
