备注

The Katipunan sa Kaluwasan sang Ka-Anakan sang Kapupud-an was a guerrilla civil government organization operating on Masbate island during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. Like most Philippine guerrilla currency of 1944, this note was produced under severe material constraints — local paper, rudimentary printing, and no access to secure ink or engraving facilities. The Pick S462 designation places it within the broader Philippine emergency currency issues catalogued for the occupation period.

Masbate's isolation in the Sibuyan Sea made it both difficult to supply and difficult for Japanese forces to fully control, which gave local resistance structures enough operational room to issue civil scrip. Whether this note saw genuine transactional use or functioned primarily as a psychological assertion of continued Philippine civil authority is not clearly documented.
