| 正面描述 | Printed in blue-grey ink on white paper, the note carries a simple typeset layout with a thin decorative border frame. The large denomination numeral '1' appears at left and right margins with the words 'ONE PESO' set in large bold letters at centre, below which 'PHILIPPINE CURRENCY' is inscribed. The upper portion bears the issuing authority text, series date, and serial number in red, while the lower section provides spaces for countersignatures of the Provincial Auditor and Provincial Treasurer, with the payee line directing payment through the Philippine National Bank, Bacolod Branch. |

| 备注 |
Negros Oriental was one of several Philippine provincial governments that issued emergency guerrilla currency following the Japanese occupation of 1942. These notes were produced under the authority of the Commonwealth government-in-exile framework, allowing local officials to maintain a functioning economy in areas where Japanese military scrip was either unavailable or actively refused by the population.
The Negros issues are among the more organized of the Philippine emergency series — the provincial treasurer's office maintained reasonable printing discipline, which is not true of all guerrilla currency from this period. Forgeries and locally unauthorized copies exist, and provenance matters.
