The issuer's name 'THE MASBATE CONSOLIDATED MINING COMPANY' is printed in large green letterpress text across the centre, above the promise-to-pay legend 'WILL PAY TO THE BEARER THE SUM OF ONE PESO AS AUTHORIZED BY THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT'. Denomination indicators 'P 1.00' appear at upper left and upper right, with 'TOKEN NOTE' inscribed at top centre, and a violet authorisation stamp visible near the serial number area.
