Obverse description	Black intaglio print on white paper. The central vignette consists of the circular seal of the Banco Internacional de Guatemala, surrounded by crossed flags including the American flag and Guatemalan banners, with sailing ships in the background. The bank title "EL BANCO INTERNACIONAL DE GUATEMALA" runs across the top in a bold letterpress banner, the denomination "UN PESO" appears in large letters at centre, and guilloche rosettes flank the seal at left and right; the serial number, series, date, and manuscript signatures of the Directores and Gerente appear in the lower portion.

Reverse description	Printed in red-brown on white paper, the reverse is composed entirely of intricate geometric guilloche patterns arranged in symmetrical bands across the full field. Four ornate rosettes bearing the interlaced "BI" monogram of the Banco Internacional de Guatemala are placed at the corners and centre, with additional lathe-work fillers occupying the intervening spaces. A central horizontal panel in white reserve carries the bank title "EL BANCO INTERNACIONAL DE GUATEMALA" in plain serif capitals.
