| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is executed in a dark blue-grey intaglio style with an allegorical female figure in classical dress occupying the left vignette, set against an ornate guilloche framework. The bank title 'El Banco Comercial de Guatemala' appears in large decorative letterpress across the upper portion, with the serial number printed in red at upper right. The denomination 'UN PESO' is inscribed within a central cartouche, accompanied by the bearer clause 'Pagará al portador en moneda efectiva', with the place and date of issue, 'Guatemala', and signature lines for 'Directores' and 'Gerente' along the lower margin. |
