| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Honduras at center, featuring a pyramid within a circular band inscribed REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS, flanked on either side by lush trees and two cornucopiae. A ribbon above the shield bears the word UNION, surmounted by three five-pointed stars. Two scrolls at the base of the arms carry the national motto PAZ PROGRESO LIBERTAD. The denomination UN PESO appears in large letters along the lower rim, with the date to the left and the fineness 0.900 to the right. |
