备注

The Banco Internacional de Guatemala was one of several private commercial banks that held note-issuing privileges in Guatemala during the late nineteenth century, before the government moved to consolidate currency authority. American Bank Note Company in New York supplied the majority of Latin American private bank issues during this period, and the Internacional's notes follow that pattern — competently engraved, printed on quality cotton stock, and shipped south for local authorization and signature.

The twenty-year date range on this series reflects the bank's sustained operation rather than a single print run; individual notes within P#S151 vary by manuscript date, signatures, and sometimes series letter, making precise dating dependent on those handwritten elements.
