| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing left occupies the central field, her hair loosely tied and falling in flowing locks behind the neck. The circular legend ESTADOS UNIDOS DE COLOMBIA arcs around the upper periphery, separated from the bust by a beaded inner border. The date appears in the lower field beneath the effigy, flanked by small decorative rosette or star ornaments. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed or dentilated outer rim characteristic of milled Colombian gold coinage of this period. |
