备注

Banco de Londres y Río de la Plata was a British-chartered institution operating in Argentina, and its Córdoba branch issues are among the rarer provincial variants in the series. The American Bank Note Company handled the printing in New York, as it did for a large portion of Latin American commercial bank issues throughout the 1860s and 1870s — the company effectively had a near-monopoly on quality intaglio work for the region during this period.

Provincial Argentine private bank notes of this vintage were frequently rendered worthless by the national banking reforms of the early 1880s, which consolidated currency issuance and forced branch closures. Survivors are scarce relative to the Buenos Aires issues from the same institution.
