Obverse description A condor displayed with wings spread stands facing left, clutching a shield decorated with stars at the lower right. The bird is rendered in fine relief with detailed feathering throughout the wings and body. Two small five-pointed stars flank the date at the base of the design. The circular legend POR LA RAZON O LA FUERZA arcs along the upper periphery, while the date is prominently placed in the lower field between the flanking stars. The entire design is enclosed within a fine toothed border.

Reverse description The Chilean coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing horizontal lines in the upper half and vertical columns in the lower half, with a five-pointed star at the center. The shield is surmounted by a plumed crest and enclosed within an elaborate laurel and oak wreath tied at the base. The mint mark So appears at the lower right, flanked by two five-pointed stars. The legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination UN PESO is inscribed along the lower portion within the wreath. The entire design is enclosed within a fine toothed border.
