备注	Corrientes issued its own paper currency independently of Buenos Aires for decades, a direct consequence of the fractured political geography of the Río de la Plata region. This 1841 note predates Argentine national unification by more than two decades — the province was effectively operating as a sovereign monetary authority under Governor Pedro Ferré's federalist administration, in open tension with the Unitarist centralizers. Printed locally rather than contracted abroad, which accounts for the rudimentary execution. The three manuscript signatures — Acosta, Molinas, and Gonzales — were applied individually to each note, meaning no two examples are strictly identical.
