Obverse description	Letterpress-printed note on aged paper with an ornate border of repeated decorative units framing the entire design. The upper portion bears the bank title in bold script and the denomination UN PESO, flanked at right by a small vignette of a standing female allegorical figure. A central coat of arms vignette appears within the text, above a promise-to-pay legend in elaborate calligraphic script. The lower portion carries the authorization line POR EL PRESIDENTE Y DIRECTORES followed by a manuscript signature and a partially handwritten date.
Obverse lettering	UN PESO EL BANCO NACIONAL de las Provincias Unidas del RIO DE LA PLATA Promete pagar al Portador, y a la vista DIEZ Y SIETE PESOS o una onza de oro sellada por diez y siete de estos Billetes POR EL PRESIDENTE Y DIRECTORES.
Reverse description	The reverse is entirely plain, printed on unadorned paper now heavily toned and foxed with age. A handwritten manuscript inscription in brown ink appears near the lower centre, likely a contemporary endorsement or ownership notation, the only marking on an otherwise blank surface.
