| Obverse description | Plain cream paper note with a circular bank seal at left bearing the inscription BANCO DE BUENOS AYRES around the perimeter, enclosing a sunburst device. The date and serial number are handwritten in manuscript above the central text block, which carries the promise-to-pay legend in Spanish. Two manuscript signatures appear at the lower portion of the note, one at left and one at right, with a small circular counter-stamp between them. |
