| 备注 |
Vall de Castellbó is a tiny municipality in the Alt Urgell comarca of Lleida, and this note is one of thousands of hyper-local emergency issues produced across Catalonia and Republican Spain during the Civil War years, when the collapse of small-denomination coinage left local councils scrambling to keep daily commerce moving. The Consell Municipal had no meaningful printing infrastructure, which is reflected in the thick card stock — a practical substitute for proper banknote paper when proper banknote paper wasn't available.
Turró catalogues it, but the series is poorly documented in terms of surviving quantities.
