正面描述 Printed in green, the face bears the coat of arms of the Spanish Republic to the left, surrounded by a geometric perimeter frame with floral and guilloche-style underprint elements. The central text block carries the municipal payment obligation in letterpress, with the denomination and issuing authority clearly stated. The overall layout is typical of Spanish Civil War-era emergency municipal scrip.

备注

Sorbas is a small municipality in Almería province, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, it issued its own emergency paper money when the Republic's central supply of small coinage collapsed entirely in 1936–37. These local emissions — collectively catalogued under the term billetes locales — were authorized under Republican decree but designed and printed entirely at the municipal level, often by local printers with no banknote experience whatsoever.

The Garrido Montes reference being unassigned suggests this particular denomination remains incompletely documented, which is not unusual for Almería province issues — survival rates were low and systematic collection of these notes only intensified decades after most had disintegrated or been discarded.
