| 备注 |
Sils is a small municipality in the comarca of La Selva, Girona, and this note is one of hundreds of local emergency issues produced across Republican-controlled Catalonia during the Civil War. The collapse of small-denomination coinage in 1936–37 — caused by hoarding, silver requisitions, and supply disruption — forced even tiny town councils to print their own paper money to keep local commerce functioning. Turró catalogues over 2,000 such issues; the Sils peseta is among the more obscure, reflecting a municipality with limited administrative resources and a very small intended circulation area.
