| 正面描述 | Reddish-brown letterpress underprint of a geometric guilloche-style architectural motif covers the entire face. Dark blue typeset legends appear in three registers: the issuing authority across the top, the large denomination value in the centre, and the redemption clause along the lower margin. |

Sesgueioles is a tiny municipality in the comarca of Anoia, Catalonia, with a population that barely reached four figures even in the 1930s. That a settlement of this scale issued its own emergency paper money is less surprising than it sounds — the Republican government's 1936 decree authorizing local authorities to produce small-denomination currency to address the acute shortage of coins produced a flood of hyper-local issues across Catalonia, many from villages with no banking infrastructure whatsoever.
The Turró catalogue documents only this single denomination for Sesgueioles, suggesting the municipal council's needs were modest and the emission short-lived.
