| 备注 |
Santoréns is a tiny municipality in the Pallars Sobirà comarca of Catalonia, and like hundreds of similarly small Spanish localities, it issued its own emergency paper money during the Civil War after the Republican government's Decree of 12 May 1938 authorized municipal councils to print local currency to address a catastrophic shortage of coin. These consell municipal notes circulated hyperlocally — often only within the issuing village itself — and many were printed in runs so small that surviving examples are genuinely rare simply through attrition, not collector demand.
Documentation on the Santoréns issue is thin. The printing source is unrecorded in the standard Turró catalog references for the series.
