| 正面铭文 | CONSEJO MUNICIPAL PUERTOLLANO 1 (Translation: Municipal Council Puertollano 1) |
| 背面描述 | The reverse is printed in blue and carries the denomination in full, the date of issue, and spaces for series designation, serial number, and authorising signatures, all enclosed within a single-line border. The composition is strictly typographic, consistent with the austerity of locally produced Civil War emergency notes. |

| 备注 |
Puertollano, a mining town in Ciudad Real province, was one of hundreds of Spanish municipalities forced to issue emergency fractional currency during the Civil War after Republican-zone coinage disappeared almost entirely from circulation in 1936–37. These local emissions — called "moneda local de emergencia" — were sanctioned loosely by the Republican government but produced under wildly uneven conditions, which is why print quality across the series varies so dramatically from one municipality to the next.
The Gari catalogue remains the primary reference for these issues, and the relatively low collector penetration of Puertollano pieces compared to larger Catalan or Basque emissions keeps valuations inconsistent at auction.
