| Beschrijving keerzijde | The simplified provisional coat of arms of Spain occupies the central field, consisting of a quartered shield bearing the castles of Castile and the lions of León, surmounted by a large mural crown. Two heraldic supporters — a lion and a griffin — flank the shield on either side. The circular legend 200 PIEZAS EN KILOGRAMO arcs across the upper field, while the denomination UNA PESETA curves along the lower portion. Mint mark letters and assayer initials appear at the sides of the shield, and the motto PLUS ULTRA is inscribed on a scroll below. The design is enclosed within a dentilated border. |
