| Obverse description | Red letterpress printing with a ruled perimeter border frames the note. To the left, an allegorical vignette incorporates a balance scale symbolising equality and a Phrygian cap evoking the Republic, with the Catalan four-bar coat of arms rendered as a background underprint. Inscriptions in Catalan identify the issuing authority and validate the note as legal tender for the second issue of 1937. |
