正面描述 Plain cream-toned card stock printed entirely in dark green letterpress. The issuing authority "Consejo Municipal" and municipality name "OROPESA" appear at the top in bold uppercase text, followed by the department designation "ABASTOS" at centre, flanked by horizontal rules. 备注

Oropesa was a small Castilian municipality — today in the province of Toledo — that, like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, resorted to issuing its own emergency fractional currency after the Republic's centralized coin supply collapsed. The Consejo Municipal's authorization to print these local notes (known collectively as "billetes de necesidad") was improvised, not formally sanctioned from Madrid, and the pieces were purely for internal circulation within the town's economy.

The square format here is unusual even within this chaotic series — most municipal emissions opted for rectangular slips. That 40×40mm format suggests card stock cut to hand, not a professional print run.
