| 备注 |
Les Oluges is a tiny municipality in the comarca of La Segarra, Catalonia — population measured in the hundreds even then. This note belongs to the vast emergency paper money phenomenon of the Spanish Civil War, during which hundreds of Catalan municipalities issued their own fractional currency between 1936 and 1939 to address the acute shortage of metallic coins that followed the Republican monetary disruption of July 1936. Municipal issues of this kind were technically authorized under a Generalitat de Catalunya framework but were entirely local in production, often printed on whatever card stock or heavy paper the town council could source.
Turró catalogued over two thousand such issues; at #1702, Oluges sits deep in a long sequence of obscure rural emitters whose notes rarely survived in quantity.
