备注	One of hundreds of emergency municipal paper issues produced across Republican-held Catalonia and Aragon during the Civil War, when the collapse of small-denomination metallic coinage forced towns to print their own. Nalech — a tiny municipality in the comarca of Conca de Barberà — had its notes produced by Impremta Miguel Segura in Tàrrega, a local commercial printer with no specialist banknote experience, which shows in the rudimentary execution. The official stamp was the primary safeguard against forgery, such as that concern even was in a village economy. Turró catalogues this as #1635, placing it within a well-documented but sprawling series. Most surviving examples of these Catalan wartime locals show heavy use; they circulated hard and briefly.
