备注	Móra d'Ebre is a small town on the Ebro river in Tarragona province, and like hundreds of Catalan and Spanish municipalities in 1937, its ayuntamiento resorted to printing its own fractional paper money when Republican-zone coinage essentially vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply never minted in sufficient quantity to meet wartime demand. These local emergency issues, collectively catalogued under the broader billetes locales classification, were authorised under the anarchist and left-Republican economic disruption of the early Civil War period. Turró 1611 is among the less frequently encountered Tarragona provincial issues. The town itself became militarily significant in late 1938, when the Battle of the Ebro made it a front-line position.
