| 备注 |
Montcada i Reixac is a small municipality just north of Barcelona, and like hundreds of Catalan towns during the Civil War, its ajuntament issued emergency fractional currency in 1937 when Republican Spain's small-denomination coinage had effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply spent into oblivion. These municipal notes, collectively catalogued under the Catalan series studied by Turró, were legal only within the issuing municipality's own jurisdiction.
Production quality varies wildly across the series; Montcada's notes were locally printed with modest means. Surviving examples frequently show fold wear consistent with genuine pocket circulation.
