正面描述 Printed in dark blue on cream stock, the note is enclosed within a dense geometric guilloche border composed of interlocking zigzag and lozenge patterns at all four sides, with ornamental corner devices. The issuing authority title 'Ajuntament de Mollerussa' is set in bold serif letterpress at the top of the central field, followed by the bearer clause in roman type and the denomination 'Una Pesseta' in a large blackletter script. A serial number prefix 'S.B.' with handwritten numeral appears at lower left, while a note of mandatory circulation within the municipal term is set in smaller type at lower right.

背面描述 The reverse is essentially plain, printed on unadorned cream paper stock, with a partially legible circular municipal validation stamp applied in violet ink at centre, the impression showing the outline of a round official seal whose legend has largely faded.

备注

Mollerussa is a small agricultural town in the Pla d'Urgell comarca of Lleida, and this note belongs to the vast wave of emergency municipal fractional currency — known as *moneda local* or *paper moneda* — that flooded Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War. When the Republic's coin supply collapsed after July 1936, hundreds of Catalan municipalities printed their own small-denomination notes to keep local commerce functioning. Turró's catalog documents over a thousand such issuers.

The sole security feature is an official municipal stamp — the kind of measure that worked in a small town where the issuer was known, and meant almost nothing anywhere else.
