| Obverse description | Printed on yellow-ochre paper in dark brown letterpress, the note is framed by a dotted-square border running the full perimeter. The issuer's name appears in bold script at upper left, with a sequential voucher number at upper right. The central text block sets out the legal terms of the voucher in justified typography, flanked at the foot by three signature lines for El Presidente, El Interventor, and El Depositario. The denomination is set within a dashed rectangular cartouche at centre-lower, flanked by solid diamond ornaments, with the expiry notice printed along the bottom margin. The printer's imprint reads vertically along the left edge. |

Mislata is a small municipality immediately west of Valencia, and like dozens of similar towns across the Republican zone, its local council issued emergency paper money in 1937 after the withdrawal of fractional coinage from circulation created acute shortages at the retail level. These municipal issues — cartones, as they were commonly called — were a purely practical stopgap, authorized under Republican government decrees that permitted local bodies to print their own low-denomination scrip.
Gráficas Albarracín was a Valencia commercial printer with no particular specialization in security printing, which shows in the modest production values typical of the series. The Gari Mon#922-C reference places this among the documented Mislata emissions, though survival rates for municipal scrip from this region vary sharply — many were demonetized and pulped as Nationalist forces advanced through the Valencia region in 1939.
