备注

Manises, a ceramics-producing town just west of Valencia, was one of hundreds of Spanish municipalities that issued emergency paper money during the Civil War after the Republic's central government authorized local authorities to print their own small-denomination scrip in 1936–37. The national coinage had effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or displaced — leaving a desperate shortage of change that neither Madrid nor the regional authorities could adequately address.

The Gari Monovar reference gap suggests this specific note has not been definitively catalogued or attributed in the standard corpus, which is not unusual for the smaller Valencian municipal emissions of this period. Many were printed in tiny runs by local print shops with no surviving documentation.
