| 备注 |
Spanish Civil War-era cooperatives frequently issued their own local scrip when Republican zones ran short of small-denomination coinage — centimos and low-value peseta pieces had been hoarded almost immediately after July 1936. Los Cortijos was a small agricultural settlement in the Republican interior, and emissions like this one were practical solutions to a mundane but acute problem: you cannot pay a day laborer in fractional change that no longer circulates.
The Gari catalogue leaves this piece unassigned, which typically signals either extreme rarity, incomplete documentation, or both. Thick card stock was the material of last resort for village-level issuers with no access to proper currency paper.
