| Obverse description | Blue letterpress note on cream paper with the municipal coat of arms of Linares at centre, crowned and set within a diamond-shaped cartouche bearing the Latin motto; two pillar-like torch supporters flank the shield. The numeral '1' occupies a circular medallion at left, while 'Pta.' appears in a corresponding medallion at right. Two rectangular panels in the lower corners carry the facsimile signatures of El Presidente and El Cajero respectively, each within an oval frame. A decorative border encloses the entire design. |
