| 备注 |
During the Spanish Civil War, the Republican government's inability to maintain a functioning small-denomination supply chain forced hundreds of Catalan municipalities to issue their own emergency paper money — the so-called "moneda local." La Garriga, a small thermal spa town northeast of Barcelona in the Vallès Oriental, was among them. These municipal emissions were authorized under a 1937 decree from the Generalitat de Catalunya and were legally valid only within each issuing municipality's boundaries.
Turró's catalog remains the definitive reference for this vast and chaotic series. Finding a specific municipal note in collectable condition is often harder than it sounds — many circulated heavily in a matter of months before the Nationalist advance rendered them worthless.
