| Opmerkingen |
Municipal emergency issues from the Spanish Civil War period are common enough, but most Consejo Municipal notes from small Andalusian towns like Jimena survive in frustratingly few examples — local councils printed what they needed, stamped them with whatever official seal was on hand, and circulated them until they fell apart or the Republican zone collapsed around them. The validation stamp was the only real security feature these councils could practically apply, and authentication was entirely trust-based within the community.
The Gari Monetary catalogue reference is incomplete, which suggests this issue remains inadequately documented — a recurring problem with the smaller Andalusian municipal emissions of 1936–37.
