The issuer name is set in two lines separated by horizontal rules, with 'CONSEJO MUNICIPAL' at the top and 'HINOJOSAS DEL DUQUE' below in bold block capitals. The denomination 'Vale por 1 peseta' appears in the centre, with the date 'Junio, 1937' and a stamped serial number at the lower portion.

备注	One of hundreds of local emergency issues produced during the Spanish Civil War, when the Republican zone's chronic coin shortage forced municipalities across Córdoba province — and much of Spain — to print their own fractional currency. Hinojosas del Duque was a small agricultural town; its council had no printing infrastructure to speak of, which is why these notes were produced on whatever card stock was available rather than purpose-made banknote paper. The Gari Mon catalogue documents two types for this municipality. This is the B variety.
