| 备注 |
Godall is a village in the Baix Ebre comarca of Tarragona province — population in the 1930s barely cresting a few hundred — yet its municipal council issued emergency paper money like dozens of other Catalan municipalities during the Civil War. The Republican government's inability to maintain small-denomination coinage in circulation forced even the smallest ajuntaments to print their own. Imprenta Solé in Tarragona supplied many of these local issues across the province, which is why the print quality on Godall notes tends to be more consistent than truly improvised wartime production might suggest.
The sole security feature is a municipal stamp applied by hand at issue. Forgery was never really the concern — the notes were usable only within the village itself.
