备注

Génave is a small municipality in the Sierra de Segura, Jaén province. This local emergency emission almost certainly dates from the Spanish Civil War period (1936–39), when hundreds of Castilian and Andalusian municipalities issued their own provisional currency after the collapse of normal coin circulation. The Consejo Municipal replaced the elected ayuntamiento under Republican administration — the issuing authority's name itself is a political marker.

The Gari Monetary reference is incomplete, which is unsurprising. Many of these hyper-local Jaén emissions were produced in tiny quantities and survive in single-digit numbers. An official stamp was the only authentication measure most rural councils could manage.
